• Branch aims to be a respected, innovative provider of fit-for-purpose homes, serving all the differing communities of people with their specific housing needs, to the best of our ability, with care and kindness.

• We will do this by creating a culture of honest, respectful relationships with all our staff, the people in need of a home, those organisations supporting them, as well as our other partners.

• To enable this to happen , Branch is committed to creating a caring, motivated high performing workforce, such that people living in its properties “feel at home”, and are happy because we strive to serve them well and do the “right thing”. This means endeavouring to be one of the “best in class”, being adaptable and ready to change whenever needed.

• Key to this will be becoming an ethically driven organisation, characterised by genuinely family-friendly standards, and properly rewarding hard work, acknowledging that doing well for our tenants also depends on doing well for our workforce, so that they are happy both at home and at work. Human rights matter.

• Branch believes that harnessing the contribution of everyone is essential to its success. Listening and responding is therefore at the heart of all we do.

• Branch wants to be amongst the preferred providers of good homes for people with all kinds of needs, with a special interest in those who occupy an unequal position in our society. In this way, Branch aims to contribute to the closing of the humanitarian gap wherever it exists, by providing homes that “work”, so extending the fundamental equality of a shared experience of homely contentedness, and security.

• We are also committed to making sure that our properties and the way we do things are compliant with all relevant environmental and construction requirements. For the people living in our homes, this will include ensuring our properties are as energy efficient as possible, to ease the challenge of maintaining a warm and comfortable home and living a dignified, healthy life.

• Ultimately we want Branch to become the provider that people needing a home, from whatever sector of society they occupy, choose to come to, and, similarly, the housing employer the best people will aspire to work for.
